This home was built by one of our project managers. He keeps adding cool new features to it and won’t let us take interior photos until he’s done. We’re not sure that he will ever stop, so here’s an exterior photo!
This home is Built Green-certified. It includes features such as enhanced insulation, triple pane windows, efficient heating with thermal mass, and reuse of salvaged materials. Some of the great salvage finds integrated into the home include a barn door from a 1913 Skagit barn, millwork from a 1920’s Queen Anne Hill home and a 1940’s Anacortes home, casework built with wood from a demolished Texas barn, and a fireplace mantel that has been in the owner’s family for about a hundred years.
