The Didgʷálič Wellness Center is a community health center established by the Swinomish Tribe to provide comprehensive services for substance abuse disorders and mental health challenges in Skagit County and the surrounding area. This project is a 21,000 square foot, three story expansion to the Wellness Center that we built in 2017. This expansion enhanced the focus on counseling and added the dental clinic, in addition to existing services like primary medical care and childcare. The architectural finishes used throughout the project are designed to both emphasize the Tribe’s heritage, and also create a sense of welcome and well being for the patients.
